AL AMEEN REAL ESTATE AND AL REDWAN CO SIGNED OFF A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR AL BAHR COMMERCIAL CENTER

Al Bahar Commercial Center Project has progressed into its next major phase with a signing of construction contract on the 15th of July 2021. The center will house a Hypermarket integrated with a variety of retail outlets and F&Bs to create a unique destination for family shopping nearAl Balad historic Area – Bahr Al Tean previously.

The construction contract has been awarded to Al Redwan Construction Company. The Signing Event was hosted at Al Ameen Real Estate Offices (Part of Al-Nahla Group) in Jeddah by Mr. Sultan Al Turki – CEO and Board Member of AlNahla Group & Companies and Eng. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar – CEO of Real Estate Sector on the one hand, and Mr. Abdullah Bakr Redwan – Chairman of Al Redwan CC with his company staff on the other hand. After that, a dining event was conducted in the presence of staff form both companies.
The design of this Center is influenced by the historical Hijazi architectural line which included Mushrabia Islamic design and turquoise blue touch of “Al balad Hijazi” theme. The project is situated in a unique location to serve families and commuters arriving from South to North. It is surrounded by some of the major government, private establishments and buildings such as Jeddah Islamic Port, Jeddah Municipality, Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, SNB Building, the Central Fish Market as well as Al Balad District which is receiving a special interest from government authorities. The historic Jeddah Area (Al Balad) is developed by the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with Jeddah Municipality to be a tourist and cultural attraction throughout the year.

Earlier, Al Nahla Group has signed a long-term leasing agreement with Lulu Hypermarkets which will occupy approximately 11,000 sqm of the center out of 18,000 sqm leasing area.

The design has taken into consideration the availability of parking spaces on the ground floor with access to Hypermarket through several entrances and elevators. The second floor includes other parking spaces that allows direct access to the second-floor retail. Four anchor restaurants are going to be located on the interface of first and second floors with terrace overlooking the Red Sea and Jeddah Islamic Port.
