Tarfeeh Fakieh and Samaco Marine have signed an agreement to develop and operate Al-Nawras Marina in Jeddah.
Yesterday, Tarfeeh Fakieh and Samaco Marine companies officially signed a contract to undertake the development and management of a new yacht marina situated on Nawras Island, located along the Jeddah Corniche. The endeavor is poised to bolster marine tourism within the city and offer top-tier services tailored to enthusiasts of yachting and boating.
Al Nawras Marina boasts strategic proximity to central Jeddah, nestled between Sari and Prince Nayef Streets, making it an optimal location for a yacht marina. Catering to a spectrum of vessels, the marina accommodates yachts and boats of various sizes, from small crafts to those measuring 30 meters and beyond.
The signing ceremony witnessed the presence of notable figures, including Mr. Sultan Khalid Al Turki, CEO of Investments & Member of the Board of Directors of Al Nahla Group, and Dr. Abdul Qadir Abdul Rahman Fakieh, Member of the Board of Directors of Tarfeeh Fakieh, alongside a cadre of executives.
Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Sharbatly, CEO of SAMACO Marine & Power Sports, affirmed that the operation of the marina will adhere to the highest international standards, aligning with the vision set forth by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the development of the Red Sea.
He highlighted Samaco Marine’s extensive four-decade track record in developing and managing marinas, underscoring how this expertise will fortify Nawras Marina’s capabilities in delivering a compelling and gratifying maritime experience for its patrons.

Dr. Abdul Qader Abdul Rahman Fakieh, a board member of Tarfeeh Fakieh, emphasized his company’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life in Jeddah through an integrated system that harmonizes entertainment with internationally distinguished tourism services.
Fakieh stated: “We aim to offer a diverse array of entertainment options for Jeddah’s residents and visitors, encompassing restaurants, parks, children’s amusements, and recreational spaces, all of which enrich the tourism landscape. We perceive Nawras Marina as an integral component of this system, which endeavors to position Jeddah as a vibrant and progressive city.”
It’s noteworthy that Tarfeeh Fakieh has already secured all requisite licenses from relevant authorities for the project, with plans underway for its scheduled opening and commencement of operations in the final quarter of 2024.
